I use these for beekeeping. They last several trips to the bee yard, and are nearly stingproof. I would double-glove if I were highly allergic, but I rarely get a sting through them, and I still have dexterity.
For handling queen bees, I will cut off just the tips of a thumb and finger and the backs of my hands are still protected. I use them for painting and for cleaning. Very durable.
